Wild Irish Rose Celtic Shop

The Wild Irish Rose recently hosted an Irish tea party at Inspirations. It was lovely to try a bit of Irish tea, brown bread with butter, Irish Cadbury Chocolate (which they sell in their shop!) and the hit of the party, Auntie Margaret's Cranberry scones.

The family was so generous to share the recipe!

Wild Irish Rose began as a small vintage shop in downtown Raleigh.  The shop originally offered a few Irish and Celtic items and various vintage pieces.  In a short period of time, interest grew and demand began to grow for Irish products.  Wild Irish Rose expanded its reach to the North Carolina community and began to sell at local events, with each one being a welcomed opportunity for the shop to meet people from diverse backgrounds, all with a shared joy and appreciation for the Irish culture and products that hail from Ireland.

After nearly a decade as Founder and Owner of Wild Irish Rose, Joan O'Keefe recently passed ownership to Deirdre O’Malley.  Deirdre's family is from the seaside village of Louisburgh, County Mayo, Ireland.  She is grateful for Joan's work in establishing an Irish presence in Raleigh and looks forward to continuing Joan's dedication to sharing the Irish culture with North Carolina, and beyond.

As a family-run and locally-owned business, our family welcomes the opportunity to share with you the products that represent the Irish heritage that we hold near and dear to our hearts.  We would like for your shopping experience to be one that leaves you with an appreciation for all things Irish.

As our whole family contributes to running the Wild Irish Rose, you can be assured that with every purchase you make, five happy jigs are performed by every O'Malley in our clan, both in appreciation of your business and in celebration of our success in sharing our love for Irish products with you.

Go raibh maith agat

 "Thank You!"
