I have been a Graphic Designer with the NC Dept of Agriculture for the last 20 years.
I find creating very fulfilling from drawing, watercolor and mosaics to woodworking. I am not one to sit still and need to keep my hands busy.
I am from a small town on the Canadian border in Northern NY called Malone. Growing up in the Adirondack Mountains, I love nature, hiking and all many outdoor activities.
I would have to say watercolor and ink are my favorite mediums. I don't exactly know why, but I find them the most enjoyable. I also LOVE color pencils.
I find inspiration in many places, but mostly in nature & wildlife.
In my downtime I like running, baking and woodworking. I was lucky enough to add spending time with my grandson to the list 14 months ago.
I'm not quite sure how I would describe my style, it changes from time to time, depending on what I'm working on.
