Phew! What an event!!
As you may know, we held our first ever Flamingo Auction at Inspirations on Saturday, June 23rd, 2018. It happened to fall on National Pink Flamingo Day, which was the happiest of coincidences!
25 artists donated flamingos. I am blown away at everyone's creativity and generous spirit. Our artists really set the bar high for next year!
Besides the amazing flamingos, we put together a living stage... All handmade little umbrellas, palm trees, backdrops and the best part? Special lighting that danced with the music.
It was like being in The Tiki Room at Disneyland!
We were mentioned on the Channel 11 News!
We had food trucks...
Pink flamingo mimosas...
The Wine Cellar next door was having a tasting right outside our door...
And the entire place was decked out in flamingos!

The SPCA sent Primrose, the sweetest little doggie ambassador...
It was hot... but we all had so much fun inside!

So, that's a wrap! We raised roughly $3200 for the SPCA! And... We are planning on doing a Flamingo Auction 2019! We're also doing an event similar to this, but with pumpkins!
